"SUPERB AND CLEAN"

Another workshop, another opportunity to be at The Ancasa and Spa Hotel. This hotel is located in Pudu and very near to Plaza Rakyat LRT, very convenient for me since it is situated just beside Pudu Sentral, nearby Chinatown (Petaling Street) and Kotaraya (which means -> you can shop till you drop, if you are into knock off items ekekekke). The Ancasa and Spa Hotel is a splendid transit hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Why? Becaue we can practically reach anywhere in Kuala Lumpur via Plaza Rakyat LRT station and anywhere to the north of Malaysia via buses available at Pudu Sentral. I am not sure how many stars this hotel received, but the rate is not that expensive, I mean for a double standard room you can get RM179 for price per night. Very ok, considering the location for this hotel. The pick up/drop area is a bit steep and weird. The parking is located in the basement, so far ok (safe). The lobby is spacious and comfortable. The staffs are wonderful and friendly. I am at ease speaking my mother tongue in this hotel (some hotels' staffs are quite snobbish and refused to speak in our national language, less prestigious -> they said, booo them). Except the dining area staffs, hmmm the servers have quite an attitude but it's okay since dining area is for dining only ( I avoided any possible verbal contact with them).

The entrance to the lobby.

The lobby.

The counter at the lobby.

The lounging area (piano lessons anyone?ekekekekekkeke)

Dr. Rusmadi in the house!!! ekekekkekeke.

The TV (feeling bored? No way!!!! ekekekekeke)

Lady Mawar interframing!!!!!walking the talKing!!! ekekkekee

The elevator at the lobby.

"The dining area: SAFFRON BRASSERIE"

The Wait (ekekekekeke we were hungry!!!).

Since I love food, eating and dining so much, my rating for the food served here is 9.5 out of 10. The breakfast they served may not be a lot (what I mean is not a LARGE menu) but I can guarantee that it is satisfying. Local dishes, fusion dishes and western dishes as well as once in a while oriental dishes (ekekekekkeeke yes, obviously this is not my first time lepaking at this hotel). Lunch time is wonderful as well, I loveeeeeee their local dishes, very authentic and sometimes they do serve Malay delicacies (tempoyak, jering, rebung, petai etc) as well. Dinner time hmmmmm ok ok so and so, not overly fantastic but edible. The treats they serve here is nice and tasty.

I chose what is supposed to be a Western Food Menu (ekekekekke really?)

The Lady and the Gang (jeng jeng jeng!!!)

BIG MAMA (Madam Fazira) on the left and Madam Mardhiah on te right ekekkekekke.

Any desserts and treats for take away? mmmhuuahhh!! delicious!!!!

Okay for the desserts and treats, I can guarantee that it is very worth it and the price is very cheap as well as reasonable. MUST TRY OKAY!!!!

Lagi-lagi The Lady and Madam Naimah ekekekeke

THE SURAU

Where is the praying area? For Muslims of course!!!! There is a "Surau" located at level M of the hotel. The "Surau" is very comfortable, very spacious and very clean. Clean praying mats, clean "Telekungs", sweet smelling etc. Very very very nice. I really like the atmosphere for the surau, imagine walking through a well designed and decorated hallway to go to pray. The pictures below with my so ever loyal model, Lady Mawar can explain what I meant. For me, where the praying area located is very importang because there are some hotels that just do not care whether the Surau's location is convenient for the hotel's guests. For example, I don't like the Surau's location in Quality Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, very far and located directly in front of the staff's canteen, I don't like it, smelly!!

Level M

Look at The Lady Mawar!!!! posing!!!!

What are you doing Lady? (Madam Naimah watching and thinking)

On the way to pray.
