FOOD 6: TELUR GOYANG MEDAN SELERA PENGHULU CANTIK

"TELUR GOYANG ISTIMEWA"

"Medan Selera Penghulu Cantik" literally translated as the beautiful lord's foodcourt. Funny but this place exists and it is located at the area of Penghulu Cantik, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Maybe there was a very beautiful lord long long time ago that resided at the area. I am not very knowledgable with the folk's etymology for the place's unique name anyway.

So what is so special about this place? This is where a special stall called D'heris located. I had the opportunity to visit this place and had the chance to eat a special breakfast dish, at least it is special for me. Why special? Because it is quite difficult to find this dish in Seremban. The special dish that I had was "Roti Telur Goyang". Maybe I can translate it to english as the belly dancing egg with bread. It consists of toasted bread and half-boiled egg on top of the bread. YUMMY!!!!!! I don't have to go to Old Town White Coffee anymore!! And definitely HALAL and CLEAN.And cheap cheap cheap cheap!!!!!!!!

Hubby had a different dish though. A splendid asian only in Malaysia dish. This dish is called "Roti Pulau" which means island roti. No, this dish doesn't mean it comes from a specific island in Malaysia. For me it means there is an island on top of the roti :D. Yes, literally an island on top of the roti. And not just any normal roti, it must be a "Roti Canai" with lots of dhal's gravy and maybe some chicken curry. YUUMMMMMYYYY!!!! I couldn't have it anyway since I have to watch my calories intake daily for health reasons. YES, THIS DISH COULD BREAK THE SCALE ON ANY CALORIES' CHART.
