FOOD 5: WARUNG AYAM PANGGANG KENYALANG

AYAM PANGGANG KENYALANG literally translated as Kenyalang roasted chicken.What is so special about roasted chicken? Well this restaurant sells the best roasted chicken (asian style) in Seremban. Why Kenyalang? Because the owner is from Sarawak and I believed it is a family owned business. This place has been opened since October 2004.

The taste of the roasted chicken is quite similar to "Ayam Percik" but smokier and roasty. I love the choice of having the roasted chicken only and a choice of quarter chicken with rice. Yes, this restaurant sells chicken rice as well. And their chicken rice is superbly marvellous, simple but deliciously satisfying.

Another specialty of this restaurant is "Mi Kolok". This is a traditional noodle dish from Sarawak, Malaysia. This dish is very popular in Sarawak however it is quite difficult to find in Peninsular Malaysia, especially in Seremban. SO you can consider this place as a hidden gem in Seremban :D. Anyone that comes to Seremban should visit this restaurant and give it a try.
