FOOD 1: The Windmill

After a few months of mum's food. Finally we have decided to explore Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. and where is Negeri Sembilan? Of course it is located in Malaysia :D. To find food that agrees with our tastebud was not easy and will never be easy. Our daily food usually consists of rice and other Malay traditional dishes. And obviously we will eat these kind of food at least twice a day. Earlier this week, hubby mentioned that he had enough of our traditional food. So we went on hunting for restaurants that offer western type of dishes. In Malaysia these kind of restaurants are known as "RESTORAN MAKANAN BARAT", literally translated as western food restaurant.

The hunting was not smooth in the beginning. Why? Because hubby and me have different sense of tastes. To agree on the most suitable restaurant was quite challenging. At least challenging for me. Finally and thank goodness finally!!! we managed to find a good restaurant that satified our certain requirements (which means the make up of the building, exterior and interior designs :D). What was it called? Well, the fine restaurant is THE WINDMILL and where is it located? It is located in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan.

Most of the food offered were grilled. So if i suddenly become a calory conscious person, then i will definitely come to this restaurant again. They offered mashed potatoes, garden salad, garlic bread, ostrich grilled steak, mix combo platter (consists of fish, chicken, beef and lamb ->all grilled), fruit salad and etc.

We enjoyed every single bite that we had. Definitely we will come again :D. For the food that we had, it costs exactly RM60.40. For some of us, this is quite pricey however we had a bowl of mushroom soup, a bowl of mashed potatoes, a plate of garlic bread, a plate of mix combo platter, a plate of ostrich steak, a glass of watermelon juice, a glass of honey and lemon drink and finally a glass of warm water. So for just both of us that was quite plenty and it was worth the money that we spent. :D
