FOOD 0: Restoran Negeri

Being an asian and in a multicultural country, Briyani rice is a must eat food. Most of us in Malaysia are crazy about this dish. However it was not that easy to find a good restaurant that sells fantastic briyani. Especially in Negeri Sembilan, more precisely in Seremban. Previously there were two briyani rice restaurants which were considered the best in town. One was called Bilal and the other was called Hameed. However both of these restaurants are closed and no longer available within Seremban's vicinity.

Why suddenly briyani? Because my mother was feeling like having it on last Sunday. I was having a difficult time to find a good restaurant because there are not many "MAMAK" (we call the Indian Muslims in Malaysia as Mamak) restaurants that sell briyani anymore.

However we managed to find a good restaurant that sells nice briyani. It is called "RESTORAN NEGERI". It is located directly the opposite of Seremban's first The Store outlet, nearby KM Plaza and nearby Bank Islam. (This restaurant is HALAL.As a muslim myself, I would never go to a non-halal restaurant.)

They have a choice of fried chicken for the briyani or the original briyani chicken that they cook together with the rice. I definitely would recommend going to this restaurant for a decent briyani meal while being in Seremban.
